After that, we went to the legendary Bihun Bebek Kumango located on Jl. Kumango. There’s only one duck beehoon seller in this area and the restaurant is always full, so you won’t miss it. We ordered a small portion of duck beehoon 37K to share. To be honest, it was pricey, but the topping was really generous. The meat was tender and flavorful. The soup was tasty although it was not the kind of herbal soup that I prefer for duck beehoon. The rice noodles (beehoon) was also delicious. I noticed that there’s a slightly difference between Medanese’s rice noodles with the rice noodles we usually find in Jakarta.

PS: there’s another pricey noodle seller, Bakmie Hock Seng, just around the corner of jl. Kumango πŸ™‚

Wah ini sih bihun bebek paling mantap, apalagi dituang bawang sebanyak2nya hahaha
Rasa yang mantap ditunjang dengan harga yang ekstra astronomis pula^^

Oh dear I’m drooling every time I come to your site. πŸ˜€ The chinese food there makes me feel like it’s not that worthy compared to Penang ( Medan’s sister city and”only” a flight away ).. Penang surely has great chinese cuisine plus the price are cheap.. you can have 2 portions there for one portion in Medan πŸ™
