On my way back from Ibu Rai‘s, I stopped at Casa Luna since I’ve heard that they have wonderful desserts. The place was quite crowded when I arrived. As I was alone, I chose a wooden bench at the back of the restaurant facing the green forest. The view from the restaurant is so good I wanted to sit there forever.

I ordered a dessert called Paris Match which is actually a Mille feuille (a French puff pastry with vanilla custard filling) and ice hibiscus tea. It was truly delicious and the hibiscus tea was also refreshing. I promised myself I will return for more desserts. 🙂

Several days later, we were back at Ubud for a lunch with friends. We arrived quite early, so we walked to Casa Luna again for some more dessert (though I guess you can say it was appetizer :D). This time, we picked the chocolate divinity with hot red hibiscus tea. The chocolate cake turned out to be a delicious treat. It was moist with a generous amount of dark chocolate so it tasted a bit bitter but perfect 🙂
