Chill out at Sea Circus

Sea Circus Seminyak Bali

On the 3rd day, after lunch at Ayam Betutu Gilimanuk Coffee, we went our separate ways. Some of the bloggers headed to the airport to catch their flights, and some decided to do last minute shopping at Khrisna. As my flight was scheduled for 8PM, I decided to go along with Jie, Ruby and Vira to scout more eateries around Seminyak. We stopped at a place called Sea Circus, which looks like a cheery beach shack in turquoise color. I love the humble and quirky ambience from the first sight.

Anyway, Sea Circus is a restaurant slash cocktail bar slash coffee den slash gelato bar, serving various dishes from breakfast to dinner. As the day was really, really hot and humid, I desperately need something to cool down, so I ordered a glass of skinny dip (pineapple and mint juice) 25K while Jie and Ruby ordered coffee with latte art 26K for photo purposes and bloody shame (some kind of virgin bloody mary) 25K. My drink tasted refreshing albeit a tad too sweet. The bloody shame turned out to be very good, and as Ruby didn’t quite enjoy it, I got the privilege to finish it *grin*. We also ordered a portion of hot churros with dark chocolate dipping sauce 45K to munch on. It was good and much better than the churros I had in a churros place in Jakarta. So far, I like my experience here, I wish I can return soon with SC to try out their breakfast menu and, of course, their coffee.
