Visited this place several weeks ago with SC. According to what I heard, this place served quite authentic central/east Java cuisine. The place was not as fancy as similar Indonesian restaurant usually found at the mall, but the place was so full at lunch time, we arrived a bit early so we still can get a seat 🙂
From the menu we saw that they offer various kind of meal such as nasi rawon, nasi rames, nasi kare ayam, nasi bakmoy, soto madura, rujak cingur, lontong cap go meh, gado-gado, tahu gunting, tahu telor, tahu campur. On every weekend and holiday they also served swikee kuah, sop buntut, nasi pecel, soto ayam, kupang lontong & various “kue basah” (lumpia, pastel, lemper, onde-onde, pastel tutup, ketan srikaya, kolak, lumpur, bikang, etc). After studied the menu we ordered “nasi bakmoy” 13K, “kupang lontong” 10K with a glass of “es cendol” 5K/ while waiting we saw most people ordering “lumpia semarang” as appetizer, so I walked to the back of the restaurant where they display various Indonesian traditional cakes “jajan pasar” and ordered 1 “lumpia basah” 4K and “risoles” 3.5K. Overall the meal here was not bad at all, we even make a promise that we’ll be back another time. hopefully this place will survive the flood.
