Spaghetti with Peas and Zucchini Ribbons

Posted in Italian, Noodle and Pasta, Quick and Easy, Vegetarian | 1 Comment »

Found this recipe in this month’s Martha Steward Living magazine, It’s quite interesting as it uses neither garlic/onion nor olive oil and uses plain yogurt for the sauce instead. As we’re lazy to go out in the rainy afternoon, I cooked this for dinner. The result is a light pasta dish, not as savory as when I use onion with bacon, but it was satisfying. :)

Spanish style noodles with chicken and sausage

I found this recipe in the December 2009 edition of Food Network’s Magazine. The recipe seems easy enough, and I have some chicken breasts & sausages I bought from RumahAsap.com so I tried it this weekend. It was a delicious and hearty meal, and I made quite a big portion so I had this for lunch & dinner :)

Fried Beehoon with Mushrooms and Vegetables

Posted in Chinese, Noodle and Pasta, Vegetarian | 2 Comments »
I saw this recipe at Authentic Recipes from Singapore cookbook I got from Periplus discount yesterday. At first, I thought this is just another simple recipe, so I decided to try it for tonight’s dinner. Turned out the preparation took about 30 minutes and there’s so much step to do before you actually stir fry the beehoon. But SC said the result was quite delicious although it was a bit less salty. Well, at least it was worth the effort :)
