July 15, 2010 | Chinese Cuisine, CUISINE, JAKARTA, Noodle, North Jakarta

This is currently SC’s new favorite. If he can, he’ll probably drag me to pasar Muara Karang every weekend to eat there. Kwetiaw Seafood Agogo is actually just a small stall among other stalls in a kopitiam near Muara Karang market. They opened from morning untill noon. We first came here because of a recommendation from Sisca to try their Mie kangkung belacan, but we later found out that their fried rice noodle (kwetiaw goreng) is even more delicious. The noodle itself is a bit plain to my taste, but it was ok since the seafood (especially mussel) was very fresh with the use of good quality duck eggs in the dishes. We’ve already returned so many times and never been bored yet, plus we love the ambience of this place (if you understand hokkian dialect, you can overhear people next table bragging about their child/wealth). 🙂
