Next, we went to Mamma Mia restaurant. It’s an Italian restaurant specializing in pizza & pasta. So we went inside and ordered a portion of Rigatoni Ratatouille 50K and a can of soft drink 10K to share (yeah, we’re cheap, so what?). The waiter kept suggesting us to order pizza, but we decided to only try the pasta this time. The pasta came in quite a big portion, cooked aldente and drenched with zucchini, aubergine and tomato sauces. We were puzzled by a chocolate-colored sauce on top of the pasta, which the waiter later described as balsamic vinegar. Overall the dish was good. The ratatoille was delicious. We went back there on Eid-ul Fitr holiday and tried some of their pastas & pizzas. It was quite good, not the die die must try sort, but at least much better than Izzi Pizza or Pizza Hut.
