September 16, 2013 | Bandung, Beverages, With Pork


While in Bandung, we planned to meet up with friends. I thought of Warung Kopi Purnama that SC & I visited several years ago, but we’re a bit concerned about the smoking policy there. Fortunately, our friends ensured us that there’s a non-smoking area, so we did not hesitate to visit it again for breakfast.

The non-smoking area is located at the back of the place, near the kitchen and restroom. I ordered their roti dadar ham 18K with kopi tubruk 8K, while SC settled for roti gulung telur ham 15K. The toast was still as good as I remembered, thick bread covered with omelette and ham, but I couldn’t help comparing it with the one I had at warung ethnic that in my opinion tasted better. I’m disappointed that the coffee I ordered was already sweetened, but perhaps that’s my fault for not stating that I wanted my coffee black. Other than that though, I’m quite excited to be here again. I ended up ordering more: bubur ayam (chicken porridge) sold outside the premises, some risolles 12K and soft boiled eggs.

All in all, I think this is still a good place for breakfast. The food is delicious and the price is still reasonable. I look forward to be back there again.
