From Marmalade, we went to Pancious. After that, while strolling around Miniapolis area, I noticed a restaurant called Tan Tan that puts a non halal sign in front of the restaurant. It grabbed my attention and I couldn’t resist going inside. The restaurant is decorated in red with fancy styling. It was lovely, but I was sceptical that this place can serve authentic Chinese cuisines. It looked more like a place for parents to hang out while waiting for their kids to finish playing.
So I ordered a portion of Nasi Campur 42.5K and es cau 16.875K, and promising SC that I would ask for a doggy bag if we couldn’t finish the meal. Turned out I was wrong. The dish was delicious and the food was styled attractively. And more importantly, the crispy pork and satay were excellent. The es campur
was also delicious although a tad too sweet for my taste. 🙂
