May 15, 2013 | Bali, Balinese Cuisine, INDONESIAN CUISINE, Rice, With Pork

While killing time before going to the airport, I remembered seeing a sign near Gourmet Cafe at Dewi Sri street called Warung Babi Guling Men Suka that sells nasi babi guling (suckling pork mixed rice). So although I’m still quite full, I decided to try it. The place is not fancy and definitely not a tourist destination. Instead, it was full of locals. I ordered a portion of Nasi Campur and it was just like I expected. The meat was succulent, the pork skin was crispy and the soup that accompanied the rice was really flavorful. A portion of nasi campur be guling plus a bottle of mineral water cost only 20K. Affordable yet so yummy. Not the best I’d ever had but certainly worth to try.
