Our next destination is the famous babi guling bu Oka. It was still early when we arrived, so I wandered in Ubud market buying some souvenirs & spices while SC chose to sit at Bu Oka, waiting for them to open. When I returned to Bu Oka, they were already open. So we ordered a portion of nasi campur topped with luscious slices of pork meat and crispy pork skin. I’m glad to find that this is still the best babi guling. The meat itself tasted a bit plain, but the spice that accompanied it enhanced the taste, and if you love spicy food, add their sambal matah. Their sambal matah is a bit oily compared to Warung Teges’s, but tasted very hot. Btw their orange juice is also worth to try. 🙂

    The best babi guling in Ubud, in denpasar is definitely Candra and in Nusadua is Dobil, Each has their unique traits.
