After we checked in at Ngurah Rai Airport, we still had several hours to kill before we board the plane. So Vira & I decided to have something to eat first. I remembered that there’s a branch of Ayam Betutu Khas Gilimanuk restaurant near the domestic arrival area, so we went there instead.

The place was not big, but clean and most importantly, air conditioned, free of smoke and have power sockets. Since we already have ayam betutu for lunch, we opted for bebek betutu with sate lilit to share. I always love the spiciness of betutu dishes, the meat were cooked in long hours resulting in a very tender meat and tasty to the bone. The sate lilit was also good although I still prefer the sate lilit I had long long ago at Sukowati’s market sidewalk. All in all, I always have a blissful belly whenever I travel to Bali, wish I could be back again soon.
