Cafe Batu Jimbar

After we finished with Arena, I wanted to go to soto balung along Bypass Sanur, not far from Arena. But when we found it, it was closed. So we decided to hang out at Cafe Batu Jimbar. The place is cozy with several red parasols put on the front side of the cafe. It was quite crowded when we got there. We ordered 1 slice of brownies with chai tea. While SC sat and waited for the order, I wandered next door and found a place called Gudang Keramik that is apparently Jenggala’s factory outlet, selling their products in IDR instead of USD. After a while, SC phoned me and said that our orders have arrived. The brownies turned out to be delicious and the chai also tasted very nice. We promised ourself that we’ll be back again 🙂

I dont know why Im not abig fans of batu jimbar, beside the way they treated the local, and how the staff acted like so proud. its one of the most better place to sat down from a trip on the way to ubud or back to kuta area.

well, my partner love their lassi, and I’d go for their tiramisu

You should try the Nasi Bali as well at Batu Jimbar. It tastes nice.
