February 22, 2013 | Chinese Cuisine, Medan, With Pork

From Kwetiaw Cong Mei, we walked a short distance to our next destination. We’re going to meet Leo & Bobby from for dinner at a restaurant called Delima. It’s an old restaurant in the old town area, with a classic vibe in the facade that’s quite stunning, but unfortunately I didn’t have chance to take a pic since it was rainy.

The inside of the restaurant have a light and clean ambience, not too pretentious. As it is a Chinese restaurant, we ordered several dishes to share. That night we had khau bak (braised pork belly) 80k, udang telur asin (prawn with salted egg yolk sauce) 80k, sayur poileng (Chinese spinach stir-fry with garlic) 40k, dadar tiram (oyster omelette) 35k, leng hong kien (crispy prawn spring roll in mayonnaise sauce) 25k. All of the dishes we tried were good, but nothing really stood out. The price was moderate and the service was good as well. All in all, we still have a great time talking with Medanese food bloggers.
