There’s a German restaurant on Legian street that I’ve been wanting to try. Since It was not far from our
hotel, I dragged SC there for dinner one night. We were seated at the garden bar area where we can see the open bar in the middle of the room, serving German beer. We ordered
cream soup mama’s special 9.5K,
four original Nurnberger sausages served with home made sauerkraut and mashed potato 56.7K,
Hot Apple Fritters with one scoop Vanilla Ice 21.5K, ice lemon tea 12.5K. The soup tasted a bit like
Hungarian goulash soup, but it was good. The sausages and sauerkraut was also very satisfying and filling. Lucky we only ordered one main course to share. The
apple fritters was also delicious, although we felt very full after that. SC had wanted to return for breakfast, but unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance to visit it again. Oh well, at least we can be sure that the restaurant will still be there when we return to Bali in a couple of years 😀
