This Ramadhan season, we’re craving for Padangnese dishes near Senen’s flyover. One of our friends suggested that we try Ibu Kaca Mata. So one friday night, we went there around 9PM, late enough to avoid the fast-breaking rush. However, when we arrived, Ibu Kacamata had already closed her stall, so we went to the well-known Uni Upik instead. I ordered my usual rendang bebek hitam with rice 24K. I was disappointed to find that it was not as good as I’ve remembered. The dishes tasted a bit bland for my taste buds. I guess we’ll try other places next time.
