Another Japanese restaurant we tried while we were in Bali besides
Take is Ryoshi. They have several outlets in Bali, so one night, we decided to try it. We chose the one at Kartika Bali Garden Hotel. We arrived around 7PM, but the place was empty. The interior is Japanese with tatami seating at the corner. Dim lighting makes this place feels a bit shabby. Anyway, we ordered
saba shioyaki (grilled mackarel with salt) set and
cold soba. I forgot how much we paid for our meal, but it was in the reasonable range. The meal was quite good, but nothing really stand out. I’d still prefer
Take over this place.
the nabeyaki udon and butterfish sushi is one of a kind. 🙂
