Last weekend, we had dinner with friends at Saung Grenvil located (off course) at Greenville housing complex. This area has a lot of interesting places for foodlovers, especially seafood. (there are 3 big seafood restaurants within 200 metres of each other: Saung Grenvil, Sarang Kepiting, and the newest one, Rasane. We arrived at 6PM sharp when parking spaces and empty tables were still plentiful, and got a table on the second floor. The interior is quite impressive (compared to other seafood places which almost always looked very spartan). We sat down and ordered 2 portions of Kerang Darah Rebus, 2 portions of Keong Macan rebus, 2 Kepiting Telur Jumbo cooked in Saus Padang (200K/kg), and 2 Kepiting Jantan cooked in Saus Tiram (150K/kg), Gurame Goreng, Cumi Goreng, 2 portions of kangkung lombok. Overall, the meal here was very delicious, especially the crabs. Kepiting Jumbo Telur came in 2 large bowls and the portion is truly huge. The quality and freshness of the crabs is very good as the meat didn’t stick to the shell. The sauce was also delicious. I’ll certainly be back for more crabs.
