Hidden among the rows of shophouses in the Mall of Indonesia (MOI) complex, there’s a small coffee shop called Tons Of Flour for Sicacilla (TOF Sicacilla). I first read about Sicacilla from their IG account and my friend said that they have very good mini tarts, but I haven’t had a chance to try it until recently.

There’s no prominent sign in front of the shop. TOF Sicacilla is located in the same row as Coffee Tree, just across the street from MOI’s Lobby 8. The interior is designed in minimalist style with vintage lamps and air plants hanging from the ceiling. I think most people will consider the place to be Instagrammable. There are several kinds of tarts to choose from: original coconut cream, lemon, peanut butter, chocolate with caramelized banana, green tea & red bean, cheesecake and mocha with salted cream. I ordered the peanut butter and chocolate banana ones. I came here mostly to try the tarts, but I found out that they serve coffee brewed from Tanamera’s beans, so I ordered a cup of cappuccino with the tarts.

I like the tart very much. The shell was definitely well-made, plus the filling was delicious, delicate and not too sweet. The coffee was also good. The second time we went here, I tried one of their breakfast menu called giddy-up brekkie 60K which consists of scrambled egg, honey glazed bacon, portobello mushroom, sausage. It was a great breakfast, unfortunately the coffee that day was not. This time, I also bought home a box of mini tarts 100K for 6 variants. So If you happen to be around Mall Of Indonesia, do try the scrumptious mini tarts from TOF Sicacilla.
