Turning Point Coffee is probably the first coffeeshop in Tangerang that serves specialty coffee. It only opened late last year, but has become the “go to” place in Gading Serpong for coffee enthusiasts. It’s a bit tricky to find as there are no prominent signboard in front of the shop. It’s located on the shophouses row just across Pa Hoa school. The interior is simple but nice, half of the right side is dedicated for the coffee serving area, so there are not much seating inside. But no worries, just head to the back of the place. There is a very nice backyard seating overlooking nice greeneries with an adjustable roof that can be closed when it rained. The temperature is quite high during dry season though, so it’s not the first seating choice for most customers, but the area is really instagram worthy 🙂
So, Turning Point Coffee serves specialty coffee from selected coffee beans from Common Grounds, Tanamera, Morph etc. Armed with a La Marzocco espresso machine, they also serve pourover, just ask them what kind of coffee beans they got in stock. For the snack, they sourced some croissants and vienoiseries from Beau, Afteraise‘s gourmet doughnuts, Lareia‘s and many more.
So far, the place is one of my favorite places for coffee in Gading Serpong area as it’s close enough to my favorite eatery Bumbu Pekalongan and Warung Nyoman. Plus on the third floor, there are two small shops (florist Irene & Flowers and Kokken+ that offer lots of interesting stuffs).
