Besides Warung Khrisna, Arie also recommended another place. It’s a simple place selling fish satay or Sate Ikan Laut, serving mostly local people. They offer sate lilit isi, sate tusuk, sate lilit nyuh and pepes. We got there quite late for lunch, so the only option left were sate lilit, so that’s what we had, served with a bowl of Balinese fish soup and sambal. It was delicious. The meat on the satay were generous, fresh and loaded with spice. Overall, it was a hearty meal. I was quite amazed when they said the satay only cost 1K apiece. It was so cheap, yet so delicious. We will surely be back for another plate next time we’re in Bali.

    Great discovery!

Never thought Bali has that much hideous gems! I’m noting all your Balinese encounters 🙂 Thanks for the review.
