From Café Moka, we walked a short distance to a place called Warung Nasi Campur Pak Malen, which I heard has quite good suckling pork mixed rice. I have never eaten such dish at Seminyak area before, so I was eager to try it. The place is located near the intersection of Seminyak and Sunset Road (you can see Burger King and Pizza Hut signs right across the stall). It’s a humble & no nonsense eatery, but I like it that way.

So we ordered a portion of nasi campur and orange juice to share. The mixed rice consisted of spicy lawar, chili seasoned pork, urutan (sausages), pork satay, sambal matah, pork skin and a bowl of pork broth soup. It was delicious and spicy, but the pork skin was rather hard to chew. A portion of nasi campur here cost 25K. Overall, I think it was good although not as good as the one in Ubud, but it has been years since I last had Bu Oka’s suckling pig mixed rice. So if you happen to be around Legian or Seminyak area, do give this place a try.
